Who we are

Vauban Research is an independent, bootstrapped research lab based in France, led by its founder, Fabien Serafini. No legal entity is incorporated yet; until incorporation, the founder acts as the data controller for this site. Contact: hello@vauban.tech.

This site (vauban.tech) is the institutional landing page for Vauban's post-quantum proof infrastructure. It is directed at regulated entities, trust authorities, and institutional design partners; not at consumers.

Data we collect

When you submit the contact form, we collect: your name, work email address, organization name, and the use case description you provide. We do not collect any other personal data through this site.

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or session-recording tools on this site. No cookies are set beyond those strictly necessary for page rendering.

How we use your data

Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your inquiry. Your data is not sold, shared with third parties for marketing, or used for any purpose other than following up on your request.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (responding to a business inquiry initiated by you), per GDPR Article 6(1)(f).

Data retention

Contact data is retained for up to 24 months from the date of submission, or until you request deletion, whichever comes first.

Your rights (GDPR / CNIL)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, write to hello@vauban.tech.

You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority: CNIL.

Infrastructure sovereignty

Vauban operates self-hosted infrastructure. Data processed through this site is stored on servers located in France or the European Economic Area. No data is transferred to third countries without adequate safeguards under GDPR Chapter V.
